Stirling Castle, considered 'one of the
grandest of Scotland's Castles.'
There has been a fortress here for several
thousand years, but the current structure
dates from the late 14th to 16th centuries.

Jason in the Argyll House, 'the most impressive 17th century town house in Scotland.' This type of stairway landing
became popular in the 1620's.

The Church of the Holy Rude, the
town's parish church for 500 years.
Apparently it closes from September
to April--sounds like a breeze to
be the pastor there!
